Since its inception, WORC has disbursed a total of 753 loans totaling more than $3.5 million to individuals who would otherwise not have access to the necessary training and lending resources needed to start a small business.
Since the FSA program's inception, 1,565 individuals have saved more than $3.4 million and were matched over $3.3 million for an overall economic impact of $51.9 million. Savings have been used for home purchase and repairs, car purchase (transportation to work or for business use), education for participants or their children, retirement, business startup, and computer purchase.
